Once again we had a great time at Dirt Rag Dirt Fest presented by Niner Bikes at the Allegrippis Trails at Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania. We had a blast and we sure hope you did, too.
We’d like to extend a HUGE thank you to our title sponsor Niner Bikes, all our exhibitors, the volunteers to put in tons of hard work, the Friends of Raystown Lake, the Raystown Mountain Bicycling Association (RMBA), and of course all of you who could attend. Be sure to thank anyone who helped make it happen and spread the word to all your friends.
And, ultra-special thanks to our partners at Rothrock Outfitters for putting on a flawless event weekend. We simply couldn’t do this event without all their hard work. Please consider tapping them for your cycling, camping and boating needs.
More than 3,000 individuals attended this year’s event, representing 38 states and five foreign countries, and the proceeds will allow us to donate more than $10,000 to the Friends of Raystown Lake and RMBA.
Most of the Allegrippis trail system held up to Thursday night’s rain quite well, but we had a couple of muddy spots on Fawn and Eagle trails. Don’t feel guilty about tearing up the trails though because RMBA will be building a four-foot wide, elevated boardwalk the length of those muddy sections. Materials were purchased prior to Dirt Fest and will be put in place throughout the summer of 2014.
