The SwitchHitter arrives ready for standard 9 mm quick release forks and includes three interchangeable axle mounts for 12 x 100, 15 x 100 and Boost 110 (15 x 110). The SwitchHitter’s universal fit installs on round, square and most factory crossbars and includes a kit for T-slot mounting on Euro-style bars. Security is also a priority with the new rack, which comes with an integrated cable lock for the bike and the ability to lock the rack to the crossbars. The SwitchHitter is available in eight different colors and has an MSRP of $189.95.

Inside Line: RockyMounts TomaHawk fat bike rack

Fat bike car racks were a bit slow to come to market even as frames shod with four- and five-inch tires took off out of the gate. Now, RockyMounts is offering a fat bike roof rack for $160. The TomaHawk can fit almost all wheel sizes: 20 inches to 29 inches, and up to 5-inch fat bike tires. It mounts to all styles of crossbars—round, square, factory and aero—and will hold your road bike, your mountain bike, your fat bike or whatever else.
