The Scott Enduro Cup presented by GoPro mountain bike race series heads to Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah on July 19 for its final stop of the season. After competition stops in Moab and Sun Valley, the pressure is on athletes to earn North American Enduro Tour (NAET) points and also to become the 2014 Scott Enduro Cup presented by GoPro champions. The event attracts top names in mountain biking including current NAET point leaders Kyle Warner and Margaret Gregory. The event that has launched viral video stars and dropped thousands of jaws returns to Utah this fall, a freeride mountain biking spectacle known the world over as a proving ground for the best, bravest and most well-rounded rider on two wheels. “Rad Company” chronicles mountain bike icon Brandon Semenuk as he and his handpicked team of riders push the limits of freeride mountain biking and showcase their skills on never-before-seen terrain. The movie features an eclectic soundtrack that flows like your favorite mix tape, while seamlessly meshing all disciplines of mountain biking. Utilizing all custom built trails and features in locations such as Fiji, Retallack BC and Utah; the film takes the viewer on a cinematic trip showing the beauty, power and depth of freeride mountain biking at its best.
What began as a 50th birthday ride for one of the event founders has become an annual tradition for the Orange County cycling community. The 8th Annual 50 Mile Ride for Rwanda will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014 in Orange County, Calif. Event organizers expect over 1,000 mountain bikers to join this year’s event. The Enduro-X Race Series returns for a second season with multi-stage, gravity-oriented races scheduled for July 19-20 and August 16-17, 2014 in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Racer-X Event Productions, parent company of the Enduro-X Race Series, has added a new race event, the Summit-X Enduro on August 24. The Summit-X Enduro will take place on the final day of the International Mountain Bike Association (IMBA) World Summit being held in Steamboat Springs August 20-24.Tweet Print
